Day 20!

WOW, I've been doing this for 20 days already?! Crazy!
Today I did well with my diet, and I got in exercise. I did not feel well today and in fact did NOT want to work out today. Being that I had to walk up to campus to get water anyway I figured why not get my workout in too.
How many of you have trouble working out when you don't feel well? Do you do it anyways? This of course depends on how sick you feel... but you know when it's not totally taking you out, do you still work out?

  1. Unless I am bedridden, if I am currently on a working-out streak then I work out no matter what, even if it's only for 5 min. It helps to keep the habit up more than anything else, but whenever I miss a day, that's when I start forgetting more and more. Everyone's different though.

  2. Ok Jamie I saw you first post and then kindof forgot about your blog. Please forgive me! Thanks for the post on facebook and I'll try and be a more dedicated reader :) Don't be discouraged by the scale. Just remember muscle weighs more than fat and if you're feeling better, you can run your 3 miles and your core is getting stronger that's all tale signs you're doing what you need to! I wish I was within 15 lbs of my goal weight. Keep up the good work!! Sure miss ya!

  3. It all depends on my sickness. I will usually do a lower intensity work out - like walking or a 20 minute video or something. Like mentioned above, it helps me stay motivated to eat better and to also keep the up the habit. GOOD LUCK!
